Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman (Sci-Fi)

This is the 2nd book of Scythe series. In this book Scythe Curie and Scythe Goddard, fight over who will become High Blade of North Merica. While Citra becomes a Junior Scythe, Rowan hides in the dark Gleaning Scythes that are showing Bias in their Gleanings. Scythe Goddard continues to rise along with the "New order". While all of this is happening, Scythe Faraday stays secretly alive. He goes to the Great Library of Alexandria where all scythe journals are kept. He researches where there might be a failsafe for the Scythedome. He also gets help from a girl named Munira that works there. What are they looking for? You can find out in the book. During that Scythe Anastasia (Citra) Goes to the floating island of Endura with Scythe Curie for a special meeting with the Grandslayers. But Goddard has a little trick for them. Will they be able to get off the Island Alive?

I really liked this book. One reason is because it is a book that takes place in the future. My second reason is because there is a lot of automatic machines. For example the ''Publicars'' they drive on their own and I like machines/robots so I would recommend it to people that also like robots/machines. My third and last reason is because the story has a logical world construction not like floating or superpowers, but reasons that make sense why there are Scythes. But there are parts that I didn't like too. One of the reasons is because the story starts to not revolve around Citra and Rowan anymore, which can end up in people being confused. If I were to rate this book from  1 through 10 I would rate it a 8 a out of 10. Mostly because it was a little confusing for me too. If I were to recommend this book to someone, I would recommend it to somebody that likes story's about the believable future setting.
