Tales From the Dugout by Mike Shannon

Recently I read the book Tales from The Dugout by: Mike Shannon. This is a nonfiction book with many great baseball stories. Some of the stories take place in the dugout, on field, in the clubhouse, or in public. One of my favorite stories in this book is when the Cleveland Indians shortstop Mark Lewis is signing autographs for kids, then a grown man pushes through the kids and then demands his autograph. Mark Lewis signed but also wrote “To a rude man with no manners” that is why fans shouldn’t be mean or rude to others just to get an autograph. Another one of my favorite stories in this book is a story where Yogi Berra was in North Dakota playing in a golf tournament, knowing that North Dakota is one of the nation’s leading potatoes growing state. He said “You don’t have enough potatoes to fill my front yard” when the Red River Valley Potato Growers Association heard of Yogis remark they announced that they were loading an eighteen-wheel tractor trailer with 23 tons worth with potato

Disney After Dawn by Ridley Pearson (Fantasy, Action, Mystery)

The book Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dawn is an action, mystery and fantasy book. I would recommend this book to 6-8 graders. This book revolves around five kids who try to stop the evil force known as the Overtakers. The Overtakers goal is to take Over Disney Word and the rest of the world. Every night when the kids go to sleep, they get teleported to Disney world as a hologram. However, the Overtakers are trying to kidnap the kids when they fall asleep. Due to this the kids can’t go to sleep for more than twenty minutes or they’ll be kidnapped. The Overtakers are a group of evil characters from the Disney franchise. Such as pirates, withes, killer clowns etc. The Overtakers  are a very deadly group of individuals who will stop at nothing to get what they want, WORLD DOMINATION! As the kids try to stop the Overtakers they will find new perilous danger. One thing I liked about this book was the characters, I liked how they were each unique in their own way. I think someone who enjoys
