Ben Ripley was a student at the CIA Academy of Espionage. Was. After a training exercise went wrong the blame is put on Ben and he is kicked out of the school. Trying to get back to a non-crime fighting life, Ben goes back to his old Middle School. His first day back wasn't ideal considering that he just came from a spy school and needed to pretend that he knows nothing about the organization. Suddenly as Ben was leaving school he gets a proposition, a proposition from SPYDER. Ben joins SPYDER angry at the CIA but still not to turn to the line of crime, just to figure out what SPYDERS up to. Ben goes to SPYDERS evil spy school and makes friends with some of the students there and to his surprise.... has fun! But that's not all soon he finds out that being expelled from the CIA spy school was all just a scripted play to get SPYDER to come after Ben. Ben gets angry but then understands the logic to the plan. Until he realizes that what he thought was casual evil spy training for him SPYDER's been using Ben's math skills to calculate something. But calculate what? Will Ben and his friends be able to stop SPYDER before it's too late?
This book was the third book of the Spy School series and
was just as good as any other. This book had my heart racing for most of the
time and had exiting plot twists every which way. In this book they also add a
lot of interesting facts about certain cities because of the evil plot SPYDER
is planning. (Not going to spoil that any time soon.) Stuart Gibbs (the author
of this book series) does a wonderful job expressing people's feelings and explaining
vivid details of places and things. Evil Spy School has very good cliff hangers
that just made me not want to put the book down at all. This book is one of
those books that you stay up until midnight reading not setting it down once.
Strongly Recommend. All though this is the third book in the series I recommend
reading them in order.
